A Special Message from Artistic Directors Wendy Fish-Lawrence and David Lawrence:
In an effort to aid in social distancing and lessening the spread of COVID-19 we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend all classes and rehearsals beginning Friday, March 13th. We are hopeful that the spread of this disease will be mitigated soon and that we will be able to resume our normal activities at that time. In the meantime, we will be making provisions for our dancers' continued training through online videos and other resources. We have created a section on our Family Portal entitled Virtually CCB and we will be posting videos and additional content appropriate for all levels over the next few days. We hope you are able to take advantage of this home learning opportunity during this time when we cannot be in the studio.
Please know that circumstances are changing by the hour and as the situation continues to develop we will be evaluating our options regarding resuming classes, makeup classes, rehearsal schedule, school calendar, and more. We will be keeping in regular communication with our CCB families and providing updates as we have them. In the meantime, please continue to take precautions to keep you and your family safe.
We also want to take a moment to send love and support to all of our CCB students and families. This is an unprecedented time for all of us and will present many challenges in the days to come. We hope that our students will stay happy and healthy through these stressful days and we look forward to connecting and staying in contact with our dancers and helping to ease fears and bring healthy habits to their daily lives. Please keep in touch with us and let us know if we can lend support in any way. We also ask that we all join together as a community of loving neighbors who are keeping the needs of those around us in the front of our minds and hearts. There will be people who fall through the cracks if we don't keep our eyes up and our hearts open.
We hope that our studios are back filled with the sights and sounds of happy dancers very soon!
Wendy and David
